Causes Of Acne | What Causes Acne Vulgaris and Pimple

Cause of Acne:

When you want to cure the problem, you usually need to get to the source of the problem. In the case of acne, there are a number of reasons why a person breaks out. Here are some of them:

  • When a person has oily skin, there is a high probability that he or she will have acne problems if he or she does not take care of their oily skin properly.
  • A person who suffers from acne often has a hyperactive sebaceous gland that sometimes overproduces sebum. What makes a person break out is not the oiliness of the skin but the blockage of these oil glands with dirt and other substances.
  • Acne can occur as pimples, blackheads, or whiteheads. As long as the growth shows up as a bump on your face, it can be called acne.
  • Acne is not an allergy nor is it an allergic reaction to anything. It is the growth of bumps on your face brought about by the over production of sebum and the blockage of these sebaceous glands.
  • Acne is not brought about by eating certain types of food as what some people might have you believe. This was proven when people who eat these things and stopped eating them after they started having acne did not lose any of the acne they were getting nor were they less prone to breaking out after this diet change.

What Causes Acne:

Causes of adult acne are hormonal changes, over usage of cosmetics, stressful lifestyle. Female acne commonly occurs during menstrual cycle, pregnancy and during polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Back Acne Causes:

They appear in the form of blackheads, pustules or acne cyst. Aggressive functioning of sebaceous gland during puberty results in growth of back acne. This stimulation is due to the activation of androgens which produces excess oily substance known as sebum in medical terms. A common area where back acne is seen includes back and buttocks.
