Corns Home Remedies
People who suffer from corns should try to find ways to make these bothersome growths disappear since they may become painful ulcers or abscesses in time. Here are some home remedies that can be used when trying to
get rid of corns:
- To soften corns and to relieve some of the pain that you may be getting from them, you should mix together licorice sticks and either mustard or sesame oil then grind this mixture to a fine paste. Rub these on your corns after your shower and after taking of your shoes.
- Another easy home remedy that you can use when you suffer from corns is to cut a piece of lemon and put this slice over a corn and keep it on the corn with the use of bandages or tape. Remove after a couple of hours and wash off. Repeat whenever necessary.
- If you have papayas growing near your home or if you can get yourself some raw papayas, you will need to grate the pulp of this papaya and squeeze out the juice. Use this juice on the corn with the use of a cotton ball.
- Get a few tablets of aspirin and crush them into a fine powder. Mix this powder with the juice of a lemon to make a smooth paste and apply this paste over the corn to ease the pain and to soften it.
Corns Treatment
To
treat corns, soaking feet in a solution containing mixture of Epsom salt and water or diluted chamomile tea helps in soothing and softening of skin. To heal corns; gentle massaging of the affected area with lanolin, placing absorbent cotton over the area and binding cloth soaked in vinegar is effective. Other
cures for corns are application of castor oil, mild talcum powder after washing the feet, milky juice of green figs and mixture of grinded liquorice and sesame oil.
