What Is Defective Vision?
How is defective vision defined and who are usually at risk when it comes to defective vision? People who suffer from defective vision have impaired eyesight that makes them unable to see things as they should be. There are many ways a person can have defective eyesight and many reasons why his eyesight is defective.- A person can have defective eyesight if he cannot see colors as they should be. This kind of eye problem is called color blindness or the inability to see the right colors.
- Another eye problem that can be part of this list is myopia or short-sightedness. People who have this problem are only able to see objects at a close range and cannot see objects clearly from afar.
- Farsightedness is the opposite of myopia and is another kind of defect that a person may have when it comes to his vision. People who have this eye problem cannot see things clearly up-close but can see things from a distance.
- Eye problems can be had by anyone at any age, but those who are not abusive of their eyes or know how to take care of their eyes often experience these eye problems when they get old.
