Signs of Irritable Bowel Syndrome | IBS Disorder Symptoms

Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome:

How can you tell if you have IBS or irritable bowel syndrome? What are the symptoms that point to this ailment? One of the main symptoms that you can find when you have IBS is the abdominal cramping or pain that usually comes before you move your bowels. Usually, when you do excrete your stool, it has undergone some change that makes you realize you have IBS.
  • Some of the changes in your stool’s appearance that can alert you to the possibility that you are suffering from IBS include the consistency of your stool and the color of your stool. If you find that the stool you just passed is not your usual stool, i.e., it is wet, of a different color, or has mucus in it, you might be suffering from IBS.
  • If your regular bowel movement schedule and activity seems to be altered, you might be suffering from IBS. An example of a change in your bowel activity is when the frequency of your bowel movements diminishes or increases. How you move your bowels is also an indication of your suffering from IBS. If you find yourself straining or feel that you did not discharge all of your waste, you may also be suffering from IBS.
