What Causes Head Lice | Body Lice and Pubic Lice Causes

Lice Causes:

When a person has any of these lice, they are often caused by their coming in contact with people who have them. Some of the ways that a person may contract these parasites include close physical contact with the individual who has these parasites on them. An example would be when a person who has crabs or pubic lice has sex with a person who is not infected with these creatures. He can very well pass these creatures on to their sex partner.
  • Hats, caps, pillowcases, and other beddings and even towels that were recently used by someone with lice can easily carry these parasites from one person to another. Clothing that has not been disinfected and washed can also carry body lice from one person to another.
  • When a person sleeps beside a person who has head lice, he or she may get the same parasites on his or her head if their heads get in contact with one another or when these creatures crawl over the pillowcase and into the head of the other person.
  • Body lice can only be transmitted by way of wearing clothes that are infected with them or in crowded living conditions where clothes and beddings are not kept clean and where there are no proper laundry facilities.
