Menopausal Disorders | About Menopause Problems and Syndrome

What Are Menopausal Disorders?

When a woman gets to a certain point in her life, her monthly period slowly ceases—and this is called menopause. A woman who is in her menopausal years is usually aged between 40 and 50; and at this age, the production of the hormones progesterone and estrogen in her ovaries stops.
  • While menopause is a natural occurrence and happens to every woman who enters her older years, there are times when the transition is not as smooth as you might want it to be and menopausal disorders happen.
  • Menopausal disorders are the problems you encounter that make you feel very uncomfortable when you are going through menopause. There are a number of disorders and uncomfortable side effects that can be felt when a woman goes through this stage in her life.
  • The severity of these menopausal disorders often depends on a few factors. This could include diet, lifestyle, underlying medical problems, and even heredity.
  • These menopausal problems may not necessarily affect all women and not all women may get all these disorders. Some women may only get a couple of these possible problems when they go through menopause while others may get all of them and have a rough time transitioning from a reproductive state to a non-reproductive one.
