  • Ants on a log – this great snack is just made out of some celery stalks that are cut into pieces that are 2 inches long, plus peanut butter, and raisins. All parents need to do is spread peanut butter onto the hollow side of the celery and then dot the peanut butter with raisins so it looks like ants.
  • Yogurt pops – this is a healthy snack that consists of yogurt cups with popsicle sticks being poked into them before being frozen.
  • Boiled eggs – boiled eggs are no longer food that is exclusively assigned to breakfast. Kids can snack on them whenever they feel hungry, and it gives kids a more satisfied feeling as well.
  • Fruit shakes – fruit shakes are healthy and quick for kids of all ages – even adults can join in the fun as well. All parents need is fresh fruit, ice, some milk and sugar, and a nice blender to make it all happen.

  • A bowl of fresh fruit – a mixture of fruit such as pears, apples, bananas, mango, grapes, and melon will surely pique the interest of the toddler because of all the nice colors in one container. Plus, parents can never go wrong with fresh fruits.
  • Dried fruits – giving a kid a mixture of dried fruit may be a less messy option than offering a bowl of fresh fruits. Dried fruits can be stored easily, and can last longer than fresh fruits. Some dried fruits include dried apples, banana chips, blueberries, cherries, raisins, cranberries, and apricots.
  • Cheesy variety – cheese always seems to be a hit with toddlers especially string cheese, which can be cut up and formed into various shapes. Block cheese is also a hit when cut into sticks or small squares.
  • Banana pops – this is a banana themed snack consisting of bananas and popsicle sticks. Peanut butter and some walnuts or granola add a little texture to the banana, and freezing it afterwards creates the yummy and cool popsicle.
