Winters, pollution and forced air from central heating systems make the hair look lack luster and dull. Ensure that you use hair care products that are rich in safflower oil, Vitamin E and jojoba oil. After shampooing, wash your hair with cold water to seal the cuticle and prevent frizzing.

Home Remedies for Brightening Hair
Beer is ideal for dull and dry hair. The protein in beer fills spaces that are lagging in between the damaged hair cuticles. When the cuticles get repaired, the hair looks smoother and glossier. Apply beer on to your hair, from roots to the tips, and keep it on for 5 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
- Apple-cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar helps clean the scalp thoroughly, yet gently. It gets rid of grease and grime build up and keeps the hair looking clean and shiny.
Eggs are a great tonic for the hair and scalp. They nourish the hair roots, the scalp and the shaft.
- Coconut oil and avocado
Coconut oil and avocado restores luster and shine to the hair. It naturally and easily brightens the hair, giving it a healthy sheen. It also shields the hair from harmful UV rays of the sun. Blend an avocado and add 3 spoons of coconut oil. Massage this in to your scalp and leave for 2 hours. Wash off using a mild shampoo.
Brightening Hair Using Lemon
Lemon is the most preferred choice for the lightening hair. However, you need to create the perfect blend and use it right. Undiluted lime can make the hair dull and dry and may even cause graying in some people. Mix 1 spoon of lemon juice and 1 gallon of water. This combination is an effective natural hair treatment and helps brighten your hair, making it look healthy and bouncy.
You may wash your hair with a diluted lime juice solution on an everyday basis. Results are relatively gradual. Once satisfactory changes occur, decrease the quantity of lemon juice mixture.
Another option is using lemon along with olive oil / coconut oil. Warm the oil a little bit and add 10 drops of lemon juice; massage this blend in to the hair and scalp. The oil nourishes the scalp and provides vital nutrients, while the lime makes the hair look radiant.
Chamomile for Hair Lightening
