- Pulmonary embolectomy
- Exercise regularly, if not daily at least three times a week
- Reduce weight
- Avoid sitting or standing in the same position for more than 15 minutes.
- Move your legs every now and then.
- Contract and release your butt and leg muscles frequently.
- Raise your legs using pillows or a stool when lying or sitting down.
