If the symptoms are mild however, these home treatments will do:

  • Drinking apple cider vinegar mixed with water. One cup of water and two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar would give you an instant mixture in relieving gas pain.
  • Drinking ginger mixed with water and lemon juice. A teaspoon of grated ginger, and a teaspoon of lemon juice mixed in one cup of water would also work, especially if taken right after a meal.
  • Using baking soda. This mixture aids in tempering bloating. Half a teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in a cup of water will yield good results for gas pain.
  • Gently massaging the stomach with fennel oil would also cause some comfort and relief.

These procedures however, only provide short-term relief for gas pain. To get rid of severe gas pain, a change in lifestyle and eating habits must be done.
