I am 77 years old and have an elevated glucose level. I do not eat fatty foods or excessive carbohydrates. I usually have a piece of sourdough piece of toast with eggs in the morning. I only eat organic food and never eat fast food. What can I do to reduce the glucose levels?
Many people with diabetes can control their blood sugar level by eating healthy food and exercise. Others may also need medicine. Mild exercise such as walking for 20 minutes in morning is beneficial for improving glucose level. Also ask your doctor whether you need medicines to control your elevated blood sugar.
