Eczema is a condition characterized by inflammation of the outer layer of the skin or epidermis. The inflammation could exhibit varying symptoms, including:

Home Remedies To Treat Eczema
- Eczema is best treated internally through blood purification such as drinking teas with cleansing properties.
- Drink burdock root tea throughout the day as much as one would like or is able to drink.
- Wash the affected areas with castile soap then gently scrub areas with borax and petroleum jelly. Wipe clean and repeat with castile soap.
- Use pine tar soap to wash the affected skin.
- Rub the affected areas with the juice of one fresh lemon.
- Rubbing juniper oil after a warm Epsom salt bath is also quite beneficial.
- Take a stalk of fresh aloe vera and break a portion. Rub the gel-like meat unto the affected areas.
- Apply nutmeg paste to the affected areas.
- Mix 1 teaspoon camphor and 1 teaspoon sandalwood paste. Apply these on the rashes.
- Put natural vitamin E on the affected skin.
- Combine lotion of blueberry leaves and shark cartilage. Apply on the inflamed areas.
- Mix together spearmint leaves, crushed dandelion leaves, and a few drops of oil. Use this lotion on the affected areas and leave on for at least 30 minutes. Rinse using cold water.
- Take an avocado and cut it into two. Scrape the meat of one half and place into a food processor. Add a handful of nuts. Blend until the mixture is smooth. Apply the mixture unto the affected skin.
Juice For Eczema
- Fresh watercress juice will help with bad cases of eczema. This juice can be taken internally as well as applied externally.
- Drink tomato juice daily, it will cure the symptoms in a few days.
Apple Cider Vinegar For Eczema
- Apply apple cider vinegar on affected area; wash clean.
- It is also a good idea to bathe in apple cider vinegar. Just make sure to rinse it off properly.
- Keep in mind that the strength of vinegar increases with heat. So, using warmed vinegar is more effective than using one in room temperature. Just make sure that the temperature is tolerable and not scalding.
