Conjunctivitis Home Remedies

To treat conjunctivitis, homemade eye wash can be made by mixing chamomile flowers 2 tbsp. and 1 tbsp of Oregon grape root with 2 cups of boiled water. To relieve conjunctivitis pain and reduce swollen eyes, prepare goldthread leaves tea or decoction using coriander leaves and water. Increasing the intake of Vitamin A and B2 also helps in treating conjunctivitis. Other remedies for pink eye are application of warm compress using sterilized cotton or poultice yogurt on the area of infection.
