Fever Home Remedies:
Getting rid of fever from home has been done for ages, and a lot of people can attest to the efficacy of some of these home remedies. If the main goal is to simply dissipate the fever and to lower your temperature, try out these few home remedies:
- A tea made from ginger juice, cardamoms, and cinnamon can be very effective in lowering fever down.
- Another home remedy that uses ingredients you can easily locate in your own home is one that uses vinegar and lukewarm water. Just measure out into a bowl four tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and add to this a couple of cups of water. Soak a clean washcloth in this mixture, wring out any excess liquid, and wrap around your lower legs. Repeat a few times, refreshing the washcloth in the vinegar water every time.
- To help bring down the heat you feel in your head and eyes, simply grate a couple of peeled potatoes and put these in clean and damp washcloths. Place these washcloths over your forehead and over your eyes while lying down.
