What are Symptoms of Fever:
When you have a fever, the most common and most telling symptom is, of course, the rise in temperature above the normal body temperature you are supposed to have. Depending on what kind of a fever you have or what caused it, here are some other symptoms that might accompany the rising of your temperature:
- Some people who have a fever sometimes experience bowel problems like diarrhea or constipation.
- Some fevers may have the more common symptoms that a lot of illnesses have like a sore throat, a runny nose, a cough, muscle pains, and a headache. These symptoms accompany a fever when the person is suffering from a viral infection like the flu.
- Fevers that are brought about by bacterial problems also have symptoms that are dependent on the main cause of the ailment. For example, if you have a fever because of an upper respiratory tract infection, you may suffer from wheezing, thick mucus, coughing, hoarseness, and even chest pain.
