Foot Fungus Natural Treatment: Athletes Foot Symptoms And Home Remedy

Fungal infection can affect many parts of the body and foot is no exception. Foot fungus is of two types; the one which affects the nail is called onychmycosis, and of the foot skin, commonly known as athletes foot (tines pedis).

When the dead skin cells get accumulated on the skin surface, fungus gets a chance to grow.

Dampness of the skin area also favors its growth. The keratin present in the dead skin cells becomes food for the fungus. Fungus infection occurs when your immune system is at its low. Fungus foot is contagious in nature; it can spread easily through close physical contact in places like public baths and swimming pool and gymnasium.
