The best way to keep one free from gallbladder diseases is to eat less of fatty and oily foods. This is in order not to burden the gallbladder into producing enough supply of bile to aid in the digestion of fatty and oily foods. Moreover, it will also inhibit the possible formation of gallstones that is one of the most common problems affecting the gallbladder.
Aside from eating lesser quantity of fatty and oily foods, the following are also means to prevent gallbladder disorders:
- Eat plenty of fresh fruit juices. This will help boost one’s immune system and enable the body to better expel toxins and chemicals in the body that otherwise may cause problems in the gallbladder.
- Eat enough soluble fibers, especially from fresh fruits and vegetables. This will do good for the body because soluble fibers will help flush out all the food taken by the body, including toxins that if not expelled by the body, may cause a strain on digestion and overwork the gallbladder.
- Make sure to consume enough water.
- Consume a lot of fresh lemon juice. This will help clean the liver and eliminate the possibility of straining the gallbladder.
