The skin comprises of a number of sebaceous glands, which in turn are responsible for the generation of natural sebum which keeps the skin moisturized and healthy.     • This absorbs the oil and help give the face a matter look. Powders may have to be washed off and reapplied at least once more during the day to help keep it effective.

    • These come in packages and can be used to blot excess oil from the face.
  • Facial Masks
    • Avocado and oatmeal masks can help address oily skin.
  • Gentle Exfoliation
    • This may not directly address the oily skin but it helps to remove dead skin cells, which coupled with excess oil can lead to pimples and other problems.

Local application of essential oils like tea tree oil is considered to reduce the occurrence of pimples and acne marks of the skin. Though tea tree oil may not directly address to the problem of oily skin, it is beneficial for a healthy skin.
