  • Buy ready made vitamin C powder. The powder of L-ascorbic acid is available in stores.
  • Add small amount of vitamin C powder to small amount of cool and distilled water.
  • Shake the mixture in a glass bottle.
  • Now take a cotton ball and dip it in the prepared serum. Now dab your face with cotton soaked in the serum.
  • Since vitamin C serum gets oxidized very fast, keep it in refrigerator. The serum becomes useless after 5 days due to oxidation. You can also keep the bottle tightly closed in cool dark place.
  • Since skin of every person is different, the amount of vitamin C powder may vary. In the initial stage you can start with small amount that may not irritate your skin. In general the serum should not be so strong to cause harm to your face.

Avoid going out immediately in the sun after applying vitamin C serum.
