  • For those who want to avoid abdominal cramping, individuals may steep Senna leaves in cold water for about 10 to 12 hours. The leaves are strained, and results may be expected within 12 hours. The cold method of steeping allows separation of resin, which is largely responsible for accompanying abdominal cramping.

Senna Tea for Weight Loss

  • Pouring hot but not boiling water on 2 grams of crushed and dried Senna leaves, and steeped for around 10 minutes.
